How to make your cell phone battery last longer

How to protect your cell phone battery?
It is not easy. The average life for a cell phone battery is about two to three years. The average between charges is two to three days. Then how to extend battery life and make cell phone battery last longer? Here are some tips:

1.Brand new Cell phone Batteries Charge Completely
This is the most important tip. All rechargeable batteries are meant to be completely discharged they come that way from the factory. Never use your cell phone for the first time before the battery is completely charged.

2.Don't charge a cell phone with half a charge.
When you keep charging a cell phone with a charge you are defeating the purpose of holding a charge longer. Charging your phone when you have half a charge will actually shorten your cell phone use.

3.Protect Your Cell phone from the Heat.
Never put your cell phone on the dash of your vehicle or in direct sunlight. Keep a way from any extreme heat. This will not only damage your battery causing your battery to sizzle out chemicals. Extreme heat damages the components within your cell phone which will cause un-repairable damage.

4.Turn off all off all unnecessary sounds(keytones, alerts). Do people really like hearing their phone beep, strum a musical note, or chime every time they press a button? You might like it, but ask your neighbor. Plus, turning these off will save you a good amount of battery juice.

5.Use either a ringer or vibrate, but not both. There's no need to have your ringer all the way to the point where it has both the sound and vibrate alerts active, so I would recommend against it. If you're worried about not hearing your phone when it's on vibrate, put it on a table and I promise you'll hear it. Or better yet, put it in a dish full of coins!

6.Turn off Bluetooth when you're not using it.Turning the Bluetooth off when you're not using it will save your phone from having to go out and check if the headset is there every few seconds. Any type of transmission will weigh-down your battery life, so if you use infrared, turn that off when you're not using it as well.
