Samsung Galaxy Nexus VS Upcoming LG Nexus 4

The recently announced LG Nexus 4 is here in just a little over a week. So how does the most recent Nexus smartphone compare with the aging Galaxy Nexus? Is the upgrade massive enough to warrant tossing out the Samsung Nexus device and moving over to the latest and greatest Nexus?
This is a great question, and something we will take a look at by comparing the overall hardware of the Galaxy Nexus next to its younger sibling.
As you read this article, keep in mind that this comparison is just looking at the specs “on paper” and isn’t a direct hands-on comparison of the two phones. We’ll do our best to accurately represent the features and options on both the phones– if we miss anything, just politely add to the comparison through the comments section.
Alright, so let’s jump in!
Size and Weight
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus originally sported a weight of 135g and had overall dimensions of 135.5mm x 67.94 mm x 8.94mm. Did the Nexus 4 rock the boat here or is it sporting a similar size and weight? It’s pretty close, for the most part.
The LG Nexus 4 is a few grams heavier at 139g. As for the dimensions, the Nexus 4 is 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1mm. The bottom line here is that the phones are quite similar in size and shape, it shouldn’t be much of an adjustment for you if you plan on upgrading to the Nexus 4.
The Nexus Display
While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus had a 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 HD super AMOLED display, the Nexus 4 brings the screen size up to 4.7-inches and has an WXGA IPS Plus display with a resolution of 1280 x 768. While the LG Nexus 4 does have a better display, it’s not really THAT huge of a jump.
Processor & Ram
So far what we’ve seen of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Nexus 4 paint the picture of a marginal upgrade. The good news is that this isn’t true when it comes to what really matters, things like processing power and RAM.
When the Samsung Galaxy Nexus debuted, its 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP 4460 processor and 384MHz PowerVR SGX540 GPU were rather impressive. The 1GB of RAM was also more than enough to get the job done. Since then, more and more budget devices are moving to dual-core processors and most of the high-end Android smartphones rock quad-core power.
The LG Nexus 4 leaps ahead with an impressive 1.5GHz Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and an Adreno 320. As for the RAM? This time around the newest Nexus smartphone packs 2GB.
By today’s standards, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is still quite capable and should run just about every app you throw at it. That being said, the Nexus 4 is a major hardware upgrade when it comes to processing, graphics and RAM.
Storage
Probably one of the biggest complaints for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was the lack of microSD. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus instead simply had 16GB or 32GB versions that couldn’t expand the memory.
If you were hoping that the Nexus 4 would change all of that— bad news. Not only is there no microSD on the Galaxy Nexus 4, the storage options are simply an 8GB and 16GB version. If you are heavily invested in cloud streaming, 8GB will probably get the job done okay, but it is still a little disappointing that we don’t have larger storage options.
Connectivity
Not a lot of change here. Both devices have expected connectivity options like Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and more. The only additions are the support for wireless charging and the added SlimPort-HDMI.
Strangely enough, a version of the Galaxy Nexus did support 4G LTE while the Nexus 4 takes away 4G LTE altogether. It’s fastest supported mobile broadband speed is now the HSPA+ 42.
There is still the possibility of 4G LTE variants in the future though.
Battery
On paper, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a 1750 mAh battery versus the bigger 2100 mAh battery in the LG Nexus 4. Unfortunately bigger battery doesn’t tell us how much more battery power the LG Nexus 4 actually has— more processing power and graphics probably means need for a better battery to keep up.
Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are relatively comparable in actual battery length.
Cameras
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus originally had a 5MP rear cam and a 1.3MP front cam. For those that are hoping for improvements in the camera department, don’t worry — the camera is better this time around, though not by a ton.
The LG Nexus 4 features an 8MP rear cam, though the front cam stays the same at 1.3MP.
Operating System
Both being Nexus devices, you get a vanilla Android experience here. It is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has now managed to update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (I believe) in all major markets.
If the latest version of Android is important to you, the Nexus line is well known for keeping up here. The LG Nexus 4 will be the first smartphone to ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which includes several new features such as an improved keyboard, a Photo Sphere camera feature, improved notifications, improved Google Search and Google Now functionality and more.
Summing it up…
While I may have missed a few other crucial areas of comparison, this should give you a pretty good idea of how the LG Nexus 4 stacks up against its older brother.
If you have the Galaxy Nexus, should you rush out and buy the latest version? It depends. If you have the cash to spare and want the improved camera, better graphics/processor and RAM—sure, why not. Honestly though, if cash is rather tight and the Galaxy Nexus still seems to get the job done when it comes to apps and overall speed, you might want to hang on to the Galaxy Nexus a little longer.
Where the Nexus 4 really shines is for those that don’t have a Nexus device at all, or are still rocking the older Samsung Nexus S. Another MAJOR reason to consider a Nexus device is that it is a powerful yet affordable option for those that use a prepaid carrier that is compatible with the upcoming smartphone. The LG Nexus 4 will be available on November 13th in the US, Canada, Germany, UK, Australia, Spain and Germany. The US pricing is set at $299 unlocked for the 8GB version or $349 for the 16GB version.
So how about it, will you upgrade to the LG Nexus 4 or not?

Does HTC Evo 4G LTE is your favorite smartphones?

The EVO 4G LTE was unveiled in April 2012 as one of the first LTE-enabled smartphones to be released by Sprint, and as a successor to the EVO 4G. The EVO 4G LTE officially became available for pre-order from Sprint on May 7, 2012. On June 2, 2012 the HTC EVO 4G LTE was released.
The EVO 4G LTE is only 0.35 inches thick, compared to the 0.5 inches of its predecessor, with a form factor of 5.3 inches by 2.7 inches. The screen is a sharp 4.7-inch Capacitive Super-LCD 2--312 dots per inch with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution at 24-bit (16.7 million) color. To watch HD video is a joy; its easy and fair to say it is impressively crystal clear.
To say the HTC Evo 4G LTE is a looker is, well, a serious understatement. Clad in black anodized aluminum, glossy premium plastic, flashy red accents, and sophisticated silver trim, this phone is drop-dead gorgeous. You can tell HTC put a lot of thought into the Evo's design, right down to its retro transistor-radio-style buttons.
Features:

Offers quick and easy connection speeds, so you can access your e-mail and the Internet while you're on the go. Sprint 4G LTE network coming mid-2012.

Props up your phone for hands-free movie watching or for use as an alarm clock.
Commercial Mobile Alert Service (CMAS) Enabled
Free wireless emergency alerts are now available on capable devices on the Nationwide Sprint Network.
* Phone activation required before use.
The good: Powerful parts, a lovely screen, stunning design, and an excellent camera help the Evo 4G LTE restoke the fires of the Evo faithful.
The bad: Given the 4G LTE in its name, the newest Evo's lack of Sprint LTE at launch is a huge letdown.
The bottom line: The HTC Evo 4G LTE is a worthy successor to Sprint's Evo family, as long as you remember one important caveat: until Sprint gets its LTE network off the ground, the Evo 4G LTE won't actually run 4G--it will be 3G-only at first.
Resource: All-in-one solutions for backup or edit the movies from Canon camcorder to Mac. No matter which file format shot by Canon Camcorder like MOD, MXF or MTS, it can do for you, such as convert Canon camcorder to Mac, canon fs mod to mac.

Do you like the mobile phone of BlackBerry Bold 9900?

The new BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a beautiful piece of engineering: it feels solid, expensive even, with its metal rim round the edge and its carbon fibre-esque backing panel. The keyboard is as good as a physical keyboard can get. The camera, the speakers, everything impresses and feels right. Turn it on and the vivid, bright screen looks as good as any on the market, iPhone included, and the touchscreen is responsive.

The new Blackberry Bold 9900 Series keeps the overall look that has made the previous ones successful. The design to be neat, mostly practical and very readable. At first glance, it is easy to distinguish the few areas of the phone: display, physical UI buttons and keyboard. The phone is a little wider than its predecessor, but this size makes it nice to hold in the hand.

BlackBerry 7 OS: The new BlackBerry operating system has a stack of new and improved features, from that new-fangled NFC payment technology, to voice-operated search functions and a faster web browser. There’s also something called Liquid Graphics, which essentially makes your images super-clear and super-crisp and makes the whole ‘getting around your phone’ thing much easier.

2.8-inch Touchscreen and QWERTY Keyboard: The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is the first of the Bold brethren to sport a full QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen. The touchscreen is ultra-responsive and easy to use, as is the spacious four-row keyboard that lies beneath.

Slim, Industrial Bodywork: The BlackBerry Bold 9900 boasts premium styling and a tiny waist. The 10.5mm framework makes the Bold 9900 the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone to date, while the stainless steel chassis brings an industrial twist to the standard Bold design.

5 Megapixel Camera: The 5 megapixel comes loaded with features to improve picture and video quality. An LED flash sits snugly on the back panel and allows users to flex their snapping skills day or night. There’s also HD video recording at 720p for those wanting to turn their hand to videography.

The good: The RIM BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a very polished design, with a svelte form factor, a sharp touch-screen display, and a wonderful QWERTY keyboard. Notable features include a 1.2GHz processor, the new BlackBerry OS 7, 720p HD video recording, and NFC support. Photo quality is excellent.

The bad: The BlackBerry Bold 9900's call quality is slightly flawed. It's also very expensive when compared with similar handsets.

The bottom line: BlackBerry enthusiasts will love the BlackBerry Bold 9900, but its high price tag will be a deterrent to many.

Have a review of HTC One X

HTC's One X is a collection of firsts. It's the first HTC handset with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the first with a 720x1,280-pixel screen, and the first with a quad-core processor; its Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset even includes a GeForce graphics core and a "companion core" - a fifth processor core that takes over essential functions when the phone is idle to save power.
The HTC One X has a polycarbonate shell, and is available in white or black. Compared to its predecessors this makes it more elegant, solid, modern and convincing. Gorilla Glass with convex edges covers it practically from edge to edge and adds to the impression of exceptional firmness.
On the other hand, the device has no exchangeable battery or a microSD card slot which could be used for expanding the 32GB data storage. And its button distribution is awkward, given its dimensions and casing.

What is smartphone and advantages of smartphone

A smartphone is a mobile phone built on a mobile computing platform, with more advanced computing ability and connectivity than a feature phone. The first smartphones mainly combined the functions of a personal digital assistant(PDA) and a mobile phone or camera phone. Today's models also serve to combine the functions of portable media players, low-end compact digital cameras, pocket video cameras, and GPS navigation units.
The distinction between smartphones and feature phones can be vague and there is no official definition for what constitutes the difference between them. One of the most significant differences is that the advanced application programming interfaces (APIs) on smartphones for running third-party applications can allow those applications to have better integration with the phone's OS and hardware than is typical with feature phones.
The Advantages of Smartphones:
Stay Connected
The advantages of having mobile access to the Internet, either via Wi-Fi or a cellular network, cannot be over-emphasized. As well as keeping you connected to all your favorite social networks, a smartphone will enable you to use Internet search engines on the move, shop at online stores, and bring all the latest news and sports into your hand. Wherever you happen to be, if it’s online, it’ll be in your pocket.
Never out of reach
Smartphones, such as Rim’s Blackberry, will not only allow you to check for email but can enable synchronisation between any email accounts like Outlook, Gmail, and hotmail. They can also send notifications of any new messages. It enables the individual to continuously be accessible and productive.
Applications
Perhaps the greatest advantage to owning a smartphone is the availability of thousands of small applications - called apps. A wide variety of apps can be downloaded from online stores, allowing you customize and personalize your phone. Games, photo utilities, online magazines and interactive reference apps can help enhance how you use your smartphone. Most apps must be purchased, but are inexpensive. Several apps are free. The small size of most apps, combined with the large storage capacity available on smartphones means you can have dozens or even hundreds of apps stored on your smartphone - an app for whatever you are in the mood for or whatever you need to get done.
Additional, MOD converter for mac is suitable to all Canon FS series including Canon FS100, Canon FS200, Canon FS300 camcorder etc, which can convert Canon FS mod to mac, convert FS200 to mac, convert FS300 to mac MOV video format with fast conversion speed and good quality.

The Top 5 Mobile Applications recommend for you

Mobile apps were originally intended for productivity: email, calendar and contact databases, but public demand caused rapid expansion into other areas, such as mobile games, factory automation, GPS and location-based services, banking, order-tracking, and ticket purchases. There are huge amount of apps on the internet, what apps will you install? Here are 5 apps I think everyone should have.

1. Money Transfer: This refers to people sending money via SMS messages. Like mobile payments, this service has more appeal in developing markets for now.

2. Location-Based Services: There are still far too many services to choose from when it comes to location-based social networking, fragmenting the market. Your friends on Loopt are often different than those on Brightkite and that list is different than those on Foursquare. But LBS extends to more than social networks - it includes any application that taps into your phone's GPS capabilities to offer up location-based services of any kind, whether that's local business reviews or directions to the nearest Starbucks. Gartner says this will be one of the most disruptive technologies in the future, with a user base growing from 96 million in 2009 to 526 million in 2012.

3. Mobile Health Monitoring: Another technology whose impact will be felt more heavily in developing markets, mobile health monitoring is still at an early stage of maturity and implementation says Gartner. Project rollouts have been limited to pilot projects for now, but in the coming years the industry will begin to monetize these efforts by offering mobile healthcare monitoring products, services, and solutions to various care delivery organizations.

4.Mobile Browsing: Saying that mobile browsing technologies will be heavily used in the future sounds a little bit like stating the obvious. That's also good news for web developers who can build mobile web applications to cater to this bunch as opposed to focusing all their efforts into building apps for the numerous mobile platforms like the iPhone, Android, RIM, and others.

5.Mobile Music: Sure, you have the iPhone, but what about your other options? What about mobile music services - especially those for non-iPhone devices? We're still waiting on Spotify in the U.S., for example, and their competition too. Gartner says that we're beginning to see new innovative models in this area that will include both device (think "Comes with Music") and service bundles.

HTC One S Android 4.0 smartphone review

The HTC One S is the second in command in HTC's new One series rankings, one rung down on the size and power ladder from the HTC One X. That's no bad thing because the giant scale and quad-core power of the One X won't be for everyone.

This smartphone's 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen from Samsung is above average when it comes to imaging quality. The One S has a 540 x 960 pixel resolution, which offers a 256-ppi pixel density on this display size.

Features
The One S runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the latest version of its Sense UI.

You'll get the same 8-megapixel BSI camera with ImageSense technology on the One S that my colleague Aloysius Low raved about in his review of the One X. The One S also has a dedicated imaging chip, and overall camera performance was brisk. The camera was able to focus in less than a second, capture continuous shots in machine gun succession and snap crisp photos while recording video. It may not have a 41-megapixel sensor like the Nokia 808 PureView, but the BSI sensor captured clear photos in low lighting, and the smart LED flash could fill a scene with enough light.

As with all smartphones in its One series, HTC has integrated Beats Audio sound enhancing software in its music player app.

The difference between using the bundled Beats Solo headset and non-Beats branded headphones is audible. With the Beats Solo headset, music seems to have more presence, punchier bass and clearer vocals. Other headsets we tried also showed some improvement with the sound enhancer turned on. Do note that the sound enhancer only works with headphones or external speakers that are plugged in to the phone and you can't tweak the settings--only turn it on or off.

The HTC One S is not the fastest smartphone on the market, but it is one of the fastest. It does not offer the best screen, but its display is one of the best. Finally, it is definitely not the best smartphone at the moment, but it is one of the best available.

Take a review of Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia is gradually making something of a comeback with its most recent phones, such as the Nokia Lumia 710 and the newer Nokia Lumia 610. The 900 is the latest in an increasingly strong lineup of Windows Phone 7 phones that includes the HTC Titan.

Nokia Lumia 900: Features
Nokia has a long history of cameraphones and this 8-megapixel snapper is quick and efficient. Like most phones, it can struggle in low light, though at least there’s a dual-LED flash. Unlike the Nokia Lumia 800, this one has a front-facing camera, too, so you can make video calls.
Nokia’s extras include handy apps like Nokia Drive, with free downloadable maps and no need to connect to data in order to use it as a satnav. Nokia Music is a series of tracks you can stream for free. Of course, there’s the thousands of other Windows Phone apps but there’s still a dearth compared to Android or iOS. Mind you, the ones it does have look spectacular.

Main disadvantages
Won't get WP 8
No USB mass storage (Zune only file management and sync)
No native video calls
Non-user-replaceable battery
No memory card slot (and no 64GB version like the N9)
microSIM card slot
No native DivX/XviD support, videos have to be transcoded by Zune

Pros
AMOLED display one of the best ever
LTE speeds - 20Mbps down 7Mbps up
Distinct premium design
25GB cloud storage
Elegant & speedy OS
Nokia Drive offline/online GPS nav
Voice search & voice launch apps
Zune Pass/Xbox/MS Office
2-day battery life
Cons
Power button placement
Can't change volume when screen is off
Only 85,000-100,000 apps at launch
Needs a notifications section
No expandable memory
Some older games lack fast resume
Summary
You cannot find a better deal than the Nokia Lumia 900. I've never owned a Nokia before but after getting my Lumia 900 I might be a customer for life. This phone is made of a material I have never seen or felt before. It feels very solid, smooth and high quality. The cyan color is absolutely beautiful and is definitely the color to get as it really stands out as a special phone. Everything else just looks plain and boring next to this phone.

Which will be your choice iPhone 4 vs Samsung Galaxy s2

The S3 has gone huge on innovation, with a lot of new attributes the speculation hadn't dreamed of. But the 1st issue you notice may be the size. Samsung has shown it may make a good results of huge screens with all the 5.3in display on the Samsung Galaxy Note.

The Samsung Galaxy s2 as well as the iPhone 4 are two mobile phones which have generated plenty of discussion, and lots of people are comparing the two mobiles with a single yet another. Each the iPhone 4 as well as the Samsung Galaxy s2 are actually well-known, and also even though the Samsung Galaxy s2 is newer, the iPhone 4 and its successor the iPhone 4s are nevertheless flourishing inside the industry - so which mobile phone is far better?

Construct & Design
When it comes to design, I say the iPhone 4S takes the prize. It's small, it's sexy, and everyone knows exactly what kind of telephone you have when you pull it out. The Galaxy S II devices aren't exactly ugly, but they aren't exactly head-turners either, suffering from a "me too" design sensibility of all-black devices without any real flair.
Each the Apple as well as the Samsung handsets are dominated by large displays that cover the front of the device. They also have the same basic button and port layout, even though the buttons on the iPhone 4S are slightly larger and easier to operate.

Screen and Display
iPhone 4S
Screen size: 3.5 inches
Screen techonology: IPS LCD
Screen resolution: 960x640
Samsung Galaxy S2
Screen size: 4.3 inches
Screen technology: Super AMOLED Plus
Screen resolution: 800x480

camera
The Samsung Galaxy S2 has a cool 8MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash that takes 3264 x 2448 photos and 1080p videos at 30fps. If you remember, the original iPhone 4S had a 5MP sensor, and several geeks thought it was a huge shortcoming, despite the fact that the number of megapixels doesn't actually matter. Anyway, now those geeks have received what they wanted-the new iPhone 4S has an 8MP camera able to take 3264 x 2448 pictures just like the Galaxy S2 and several other modern smartphones. Plus it has a CMOS illuminated sensor, which is 73 percent more effective and about 30 percent faster than before. And of course, it shoots 1080p HD videos, too.

What should you do if the phone drop into water

Have you ever dropped your cell phone in the sink, or even worse... the toilet? Did you ever leave it in your pocket and run it through the washer? Did you ever swim with your cell phone in your pocket? Ever have it fall into the pet's water bowl? Getting your cell phone wet usually means you have to replace it, but sometimes if you're fast enough, you might be able to save the phone!

So what should you do if your expensive mobile phone gets wet in the rain or your drop it in a wash basin?
The first step you need to take is the immediate shutting off your mobile once it is recovered, although in most cases you will not have to do that as they itself get off automatically. Patience pays off - do not dare to experiment anything new and test the phone whether it is working or not until the phone is absolutely dry which takes around 2-4 days generally.

Then you need to remove all its vital parts that include a battery, phone covers, faceplates, SIM card and others. Remove all other peripherals and covers that can be removed. Remove any covers and external connectors to open up as many gaps, slots, and crevices in the phone as possible.

Dry your phone. If there is even one drop of water left inside, it can ruin your phone by corroding it and making the wrong contact. Obviously you need to remove as much of the water as soon as possible, to prevent it from easing its way into the phone. Use a vacuum cleaner if possible. If you want to try and suck the liquid out of the inner parts of the phone, try using a vacuum cleaner. Remove all residual moisture by drawing it away with a vacuum cleaner held over the affected areas for up to 20 minutes, in each accessible area (take it in turns with a friend). This is the fastest method and can completely dry out your phone and get it working in thirty minutes. However, unless the exposure to water was extremely short, it's not recommended to attempt to turn your phone on this soon. Be careful not to hold the vacuum too close to the phone, as a vacuum can create static electricity, which is even worse for the phone.

Try to completely cover the iPhone in a bowl of rice. Rice being a natural desiccant will help absorb the excess moisture. Let it dry for at least 24 hours and Do not try to charge the device.

The three things for why I love the iphone 4S

The iPhone 4S is the fifth generation of the iPhone and retains the exterior design of its predecessor, the iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates. The phone added a voice recognition system known as Siri, for which the S in the products name stands, and a cloud storage service named iCloud. Some of the device's functions may be voice-controlled through Siri.

Siri is Apple's new intelligent software voice-recognition assistant and exclusive to the iPhone 4S. While some users have shown that Siri runs just fine on an iPhone 4, connecting to Apple's servers have proven to be a futile attempt as it only accepts commands from the UID of an iPhone 4S handset.

Some of the cool things Siri can do is type messages as the user dictates it then send it to the recipient, set an alarm, place a reminder, and even do some light researching for you. One user even managed to let Siri start a car, although the setup was pretty complicated.

With iPhone 4S you can capture spectacular 1080p HD video given that with the most recent optics, there is vivid color all the time. Additionally, it is simple to directly edit video and share it on any social media platform with not having to wait to go onto the internet by the use of your computer.

iCloud is ideal for the management of your contacts, photos, mail messages and apps, among other things. iCloud automatically stores all of your content, from music and photos to apps and e-mails, so that it's easily accessible from whichever device you happen to be using. Best of all, it's completely free to get 5GB of effortless storage. And since iCloud doesn't need to be manually synced with your devices, your content is always available, no matter where you are.

Upload video from your mobile phone to YouTube

Posting and sharing video clips online just got a lot more simpler. YouTube, the popular Video sharing site, now lets you upload videos to Youtube servers using email without the web browser based Youtube video uploader.
YouTube has added a new feature to upload video using cell phones, all you need to do is a GPRS or Wi-fi connected mobile phone, a video on your mobile and few settings on YouTube from your computer. If your mobile don't have GPRS or Wi-fi facility then also you can send video via MMS. Standard operator rates are applied. We will use this to upload videos to YouTube by email. The trick is to create a Mobile profile on Youtube and you receive the email address to which you can send the videos. Here's a process to upload video from YouTube.

Step 1. If you don't already have a YouTube account, you need to create one. It's quick and easy to create one. Point your browser to: http://www.youtube.com/ In the upper right hand corner, click "Create an Account."

Step 2. Fill in the necessary information to create an account. Create a username, select your location, provide additional personal information, read the terms of agreement, and then click "I Accept."
TIP! Your username will become your YouTube URL. For example, AYM's username is "youthmovements," so our URL is http://www.youtube.com/youthmovements

Step 3. You will be directed to a new page asking if you already have a Google account. If you do have one, enter you account email and password to add YouTube to your Google account. Don't have a Google account? No worries. Just add a personal email address, create a password, and click "Create New Account and Finish."

Step 4. You will need to check your email and open a confirmation email from YouTube. Click on the link in the email to confirm your YouTube account. You will be re-directed to the YouTube homepage. You are ready to go!

Step 5. Before you can upload videos from your mobile phone, you need to configure your account. Click on your username in the top right-hand corner of any YouTube page. In the drop-down menu, select "Account." You will be directed to the Account Settings page.

Step 6. On the left-hand side, select "Mobile Setup." You will see a blue box that says: "Upload videos from your phone by sending them to:" followed by an email address. This email address is unique to you. Write it down, and add it to your contacts in your mobile phone.

Step 7. Select a video file on your mobile phone, and email it to the email address you were given by YouTube. Videos sent to this address will be added to your YouTube channel!

Step 8. Log into your YouTube account on your computer later to update information about the mobile video you uploaded - add a title, description, and tags, and set your privacy settings.
