Problem: Converting from Canon Vixia HF M30 for editing with Movie Maker
In order to preserve quality as much as possible, what converter do you recommend to convert the Canon Vixia HFM30 movie files in order to edit with Windows Movie Maker? I know Movie Maker is not the best out there, but it’s pretty straight forward. All I want is to edit video clips I make during vacation trips, add some music and some photos too and then play them on my HDTV directly from computer (via HDMI connection). No need to burn DVD’s as I understood this comes with additional headaches and quality degradation (might be wrong about this though).
